Just 3 blocks west is downtown Laramie, offering a mecca of local shops, delicious restaurants and historic sites! From the city, you can also visit the Laramie Historic Railroad Depot that houses a small museum, art exhibits and various community functions.
A quick 3-block walk east will take you to the University of Wyoming campus, where you can watch a football game, gaze at stars in the planetarium or access the University of Wyoming Geological Museum! Also near the home is LaBonte Park, offering a family-friendly community garden with a skate park, soccer fields and playground.
For a day trip, take a quick 30-minute drive to Medicine Bow National Forest to hike the scenic trails, fish along the rivers and look out to breathtaking vistas on the Snowy Range Scenic Byway. In the wintertime, head to the Snowy Range Ski Area to shred some fresh power on your skis, snowboard or snowmobile!

Great place to stay in Laramie
5/5 The apartment is very clean, with comfortable beds, nice kitchen, roomy bathrooms, and location is close to campus and downtown in a nice neighborhood. I'm very impressed with the renovation quality as well.

5/5 This rental was in a great location. A few things to keep in mind thought. The parking spot is small. A big truck or full size suv will not fit. The unit was a little stuffy smelling when you first enter but it was very accommodating. It had everything we needed. The bed linens in one room could have been cleaner ( few hairs). But overall I would rent again. Great price point.

The best hosts and a wonderful experience.
5/5 The accommodations were perfect for our needs, were well-kept and clean. It was an honor to stay in such an historic building and to help the Laramie Plains Museum through our patronage. The hosts were responsive to us, introduced themselves and quickly fixed a minor problem with the wifi. We will be back for a return stay for certain. Makes the idea of staying at a hotel most unappealing.
