Fantastic Location and Host!
5/5 What a great spot! Love the location and decor of this house. Joe was a great host and very prompt to reply and easy to communicate with. This house worked as a great home base for us while we were visiting our daughter at college.

Amazing place to stay!
5/5 When we arrived, we were blown away by how nice the Murph Landing was! Very cozy and comfortable! Then, as avid WVU fans (our daughter is in the marching band!) we loved all of the WVU pictures, memorabilia, and Joe's tribute to Murph! We had everything we needed in the home (and more!) and they had so many wonderful additional touches to the home that made our weekend perfect! We even loved the hidden Mickey we found on the stairs! We told many band parents about Murph Landing, and we definitely want to stay again! Thank you Joe for your hospitality! We enjoyed our stay very much!

5/5 My family feels so fortunate to have stayed at Murph Landing and to have made the acquaintance of Joe and Karen Tinsley. They are a delightful couple with an amazing history and love for West Virginia and all things Mountaineers!
Murphy Landing is so welcoming and filled with stories, photos and memorabilia of Murph Tinsley's career at WVU. EVERY item that one could need for a comfortable stay has been thought of and provided. I especially loved that everything was labeled - - no trying to figure out what light switch operated what light or fan!
Murph Landing is centrally located near many items of interest including the main WVU Campus. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed dinner on the patio at Oliverio's on Clay Street - - a definite recommendation. Cooper's Rock State Forest and its scenic overlook and hiking trails are just a 20 minute drive. So much to do in a tiny radius!
We hope to return to Morgantown and explore more attractions and surrounding areas in the near future. When we do, it would be our honor to stay at Murph Landing again.
