We loved this cabin. Very spacious. Comfortable beds, extra pillows / blankets. Wifi was strong and reliable, even sitting outside on the patio. I loved drinking my coffee outside, overlooking the lake, listening to the birds.
Appreciated the code lock door, no need to look for or keep track of a key. Check out was easy.
There is electricity out on the patio, and down by the lake, which was great. Of note, there are steps ( about 20?) to walk down to the lake. Could be difficult if someone has mobility issues.
We stayed here in July and hiked near Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and Wausau. My husband caught a few fish out on the lake, including bass and a northern, and a sunfish off the dock.
We spent a day at Buck Lake beach. Nice cool, clear water, changing rooms, bathrooms on site, etc. It's a county park ( no fees ) that also has hiking trails.
The owner was responsive to our questions. Great place to stay. We'd love to come back in Autumn sometime. I imagine the fall colors are amazing there.

We were in town for a family weekend and opted to stay at this cabin instead of a hotel. We are so glad we did. It was a great location for us, very comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, and lots of restaurant options within a half hour drive. Quiet area, nice neighbors, and beautiful view of the lake. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again. Had our young adult kids with us, but could see this being a great place for small kids as well. We LOVED all the games that are at the cabin - a nice added touch we enjoyed.
A great location and a beautiful view.
