3/5 Property provided a place to stay. Helpful hints (HVAC thermostat, use of “mutual fire pit”, where to put garbage) needed in visitors’ handbook. No duvet covers! Tchotchke dust, finger-smeared slider, broken chair leg—for 1000 for two nights I expected better.

Hi Linnea, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We're in the process of updating house rules and welcome materials to include clear guidance on the Nest thermostat, shared fire pit use, and trash disposal.
- We are happy that we provided assistance remotely with the thermostat during your stay and that it remained fully operational.
- A new cleaning crew is being brought on to ensure higher standards, and the broken chair has been removed. We'll also make sure surfaces and décor are cleaned more thoroughly moving forward.
- All bedding is freshly laundered between stays, although duvet covers are not currently in use.

5/5 This property is exceptionally clean and very well appointed. I have nothing but kudos to send to our host. Outstanding location. Right on the lake and walking distance to downtown and the park for the children and the park for our pickleball tournament!
