  The location and scenery is perfect for a quick getaway. The house, although spacious, has a few querks that could be attended to. There are several coffee machines/dispensers, but there were issues with all of them. The Keurig pods were the wrong size, one of the pots wouldn't brew and the final one was either missing parts or written instructions. The dishwasher wouldn't run and the bathroom fan and air intake filters were filthy. The house seems to be in the middle of a renovation, so maybe upgrades are in the plan.

  The bed in master bedroom was a queen sized bed made with double size bed sheets that kept coming off the mattress. We had to call the property host to get the correct wifi connection and password because the one listed in the home manual had been changed. Smoke detector kept going off. The house is located on a very busy Washington State highway with lots of traffic and noise.

  - The cleaning team came out during your stay to replace the sheets with the correct size, and we regret the oversight in preparing the bed initially.
  - The WiFi login has since been updated in the home manual to prevent future confusion.
  - The smoke detector has been inspected to ensure it's functioning properly without false alarms.
  - The home is located along a state highway, which provides easy access to local attractions, though it can come with some added traffic noise.

  We stayed for 3 nights to take in the sights of the PNW and this was our nightly hub. It did that job perfectly. The bedroom setup was what we were looking for. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill worked great. The decks were great to just sit and enjoy the view.

• Shelton trip

  We had a nice time staying at the property. We enjoyed checking the tide levels every morning. The stay was nice and relaxing. We spent time traveling around the Olympic peninsula and visiting the small towns. It was truly a nice visit.

• Fall on the Sound

  This little gem right on the water with tons of decking to view the sound and Mt Rainer was just we needed for a few days. We enjoyed watching the drastic tide changes and took advantage of the 3 kayaks that were available. The house is right on a very busy noise road, but you'll never know it when you climb into bed on the lower level. It's peaceful and quite down near on the water side of the house.
