  Check in was easy. We appreciated Jon's more detailed description of how to get to the house. Be prepared for stairs - a few more than we anticipated. Jon was very good with communications.

  Very seamless process for check-in. Very responsive by text to any needs. Fun decorations and random themes. Cozy home. Only recommendation is to replace the stove. Thank you

  Thanks so much for the 5 stars! 😊 We agree the stove is small and replacing it was on our original to-do list—but it turns out this type (left handed, drop in, downdraft) isn’t made anymore, and swapping it would mean major kitchen reconstruction. A few chefs have told us it’s actually great quality, so for now it’s our little retro workhorse. We truly appreciate your understanding and your kind words! And we do try and make up for it with lots of other fun amenities and features!

• Nice stay at a quaint house.

  Jon was very good at communicating details before and during our stay, which we appreciated. This ended up being a better location than we first thought - once we discovered the 17 bus stopped at a nearby corner and helped with the commute to the downtown area. Be prepared for stairs - we knew there were stairs from the pictures and description, but didn't realize there were quite so many to get into the house!

  From the owner: "We're glad the location worked out better than you thought! We do try and communicate lots of details, etc., as that is how we like to be treated when traveling. Plus, if we didn't send out information beforehand, many of our guests would get lost finding our place, as it can be a little tricky (we can't tell you how many Uber drivers have gotten lost!).
  I guess we need to make clear that there are bus lines close by—there are several bus lines within a 5-block walk. And yes, for those reading this, we do have a number of stairs, but we do hope you'll find it's worth it! We do hope you'll consider staying with us whenever you are in Seattle."
