Love the view
4/5 Like the 2 Bd/2 ba arrangement on one level.
Would suggest glass rather than plastic wine glasses and a way wash off the sand off one’s feet outside. A few prices of fire wood would be nice.

Lovely quiet trip
5/5 The house was so clean and in the best location, it was so peaceful listening to the wildlife every night and morning. We weren’t there a whole lot during our stay but the time spent there was lovely. I will be saving this house for our next vacation to the coast!

Nice location
3/5 Right on the canal and walkable to the beach. Nice to have 2 bathrooms when traveling with family.

2/5 The outside of the house was dirty (cobwebs)
No handrail up the 3 stairs which is required by state law.
No safety rails on the back porch ( 2 feet or higher ) which is required.
No response from the property management.

Hi Nancy, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The home has passed all state and city building codes, and a handrail is not required as the stairs only have two risers
- The back porch does not exceed the height that requires safety rails according to local regulations
- Cobwebs can be common in rural areas like Ocean Shores, particularly during summer. However, we have asked our cleaning team to be more diligent about removing them and will ensure that porch and backyard lights are turned off when the property is not in use to help mitigate this issue
- We wish you would have reached out to us during your stay. We would have been more than happy to help with any issues while you were in residence to make your stay most comfortable

5/5 We enjoyed our stay in Ocean Shores. House was comfortable and very clean in the quieter area of the canal (south). We would stay here again!
