Family Reunion Weekend
5/5 We had a great weekend at the Big House, and it is a beautiful property and great space inside for a large group of people. All the rooms with the bathrooms was really great for our family dynamics, and was a big upgrade from previous family reunion rentals. There was unfortunately a water issue that resulted in no running water Sat-Sun, but working with the home owner and property manager was really smooth and they worked really hard to make our stay comfortable, including bringing a portable potty and hand washing station to the house. Even with the water incident i would 100% come back to stay again and anyone who is looking for a family friendly property for both indoor/outdoor activities this place is it.

Enough space for everyone
5/5 We had a great weekend at this home. Once a year, three generations of our family come together for the whole weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone. 3 different table areas so we could have board games, crafts, and just visiting happening simultaneously. The kitchen space was comfortable to cook in, with two separate areas that were near each other. Be aware of the bed arrangements so you can plan for who is where. I didn't ask others, but I know the primary bedroom bed was very comfortable.

Great location for a weekend retreat
5/5 This was our 11th year staying at this location with our youth and young adults and we loved it. This location has the perfect amenities and easy communication and very convenient for a retreat.
Perfect retreat setting!
5/5 We had a work retreat this week at the Big House Lodge, and this was the best setting for us! Not only were the rooms quiet and comfortable, but we loved the huge kitchen where our staff that love to cook could shine. We had fantastic weather so we were able to enjoy the gorgeous fall colors and sweet little pathways through the trees! Lots of mountain views and starry nights in the hot tub. The host was an excellent communicator - very prompt to respond and proactive in communicating. If you're on the fence about whether or not to book this place - you should!
