Peaceful Retreat
5/5 We arrived from a long weekend visiting NYC, so this place was the perfect recovery cabin for us The sweet treat and fresh local coffee was an added bonus—thank you. As for comfort, the bed was wonderful. The shower had great pressure and every little detail was thought of, from where to find the remotes for the TV and Bedroom fan, to the little shelves in the bathroom to put our things. We only wishedIt wasn’t in the middle of a record breaking heat wave, so the cute back patio could have been enjoyed more. We were very grateful for the cold A/C unit.The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and baking.The high school across the street has a track we enjoyed walking around at sunset. Lots of great restaurants and an apple cider nearby that made our time memorable. After three nights I wasn’t ready to leave. It felt like home.We loved Artisan Coffee, Ben & Jerry’s, Cold Hollow Cider Mill and The Backyard.
