Great Stay

Convenient Stay on WG
5/5 Easy in, easy out, responsive management. Cool property, fits multiple cars easily, nice outdoor deck spaces. Cozy bedrooms but the layout worked great for us with two couples and a single. Kitchen worked well for two working together, all the basics were there. Comfy furniture for chatting and playing games or cards. Would stay again!
Communication w/Hatter not great, house Good
4/5 Our scheduled check-in day was on a Thursday at 4:00pm. Days before our scheduled check-in we emailed William Hatter of Hatter Management asking if we could possibly have an earlier check-in, at 2:00pm. We were meeting our college kids at the house for the weekend and they were traveling from Va Tech. Mr. Hatter called us at 7:30pm on Thursday, 3 hours and 30 minutes after we had already checked-in. He then proceed to tell us that an early check-in was not available. Wow, thanks Mr. Hatter. The only other issue was that the fuse for the party lights on the deck kept tripping. Fuse #2 to be exact.
I would like to thank the owners for the use of their beautiful home. We really enjoyed our time on the very large decks. It was very peaceful in the morning and we had some memorable laughs with our kids that will last a lifetime. The windows facing the rock cliff to the rear of the house produced a breath taking views as well.
My only other comment is regarding the location. It was perfect for us given the time of year. However, if it’s winter and you’re planing on skiing, that’s a very long walk to the slopes. Too far for me.
Awesome place to unwind at Wintergreen
5/5 My family of four and I decided to get away for a little while before they return to college. We have never been to Wintergreen before in the summer so we thought we would try the Shenandoah Valley place is exactly describe as a surprise and amount of room as it is fully furnished on two levels. There is a beautiful deck out front and plenty of seating to just enjoy the peace and quiet. There are a lot of other interesting, wineries, and breweries just at the base of the mountain when you’re looking for something to do. There’s also a great hike just a few hundred meters from the driveway.

5/5 It was a lovely home with everything we needed for a fun time in the mountains. The property management team was very responsive to our requests.
