The PROS: The communication with the owner was stellar before, during, and after our stay and I greatly appreciated the flexibility when I needed to make a last-minute change to our dates. Check-in was easy. The location was convenient. The golf course, which is basically the back yard, is lovely and serene. Great outdoor space and nice to have a parking spot hidden from the street. The king bed and linens were very comfortable. The house was very clean inside. The price was very affordable. The house is a good size (lots of bedrooms and public spaces), and all the basics (e.g., towels, hair dryer) seemed to be available. The CONS: Though serviceable, the house is very dated, so if you're looking for luxury, this one probably isn't for you. The house does not have central air conditioning. Some of the bedrooms have window units but the room with the king-sized bed does not. The (thoughtfully provided) fan didn't cool us enough to be comfortable while sleeping. We could have moved to another bedroom that did have an a/c unit, but we specifically had selected the house for the king-sized bed.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the communication, flexibility, and ease of check-in, as well as the clean home, comfortable king bed, and convenient location. We followed up with the owner, who would like to address the following:
- We’d like to clarify that the home does have central air conditioning, with supplemental window units available upstairs for additional comfort. Guests also have access to the thermostat to adjust the temperature during their stay.
- While the home is not marketed as a luxury property, we strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and affordable space with plenty of room for families and groups.
- We’re happy the value, amenities, and outdoor setting met your needs, and we’ll continue making improvements where possible.
We appreciate your comments and are glad you enjoyed many aspects of your stay.
My husband and I rented this property for a week. It is just as listed - a 17 minute drive from the Richmond airport, great location and has everything you may need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, depending on what you want to eat. It’s a very cute house. Thank you for letting us stay in your home! Ray and Lynda, Colorado

My husband and I had a great stay at this property. The house has everything you may need. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. There are a lot of restaurants around the area, depending on what you want. The neighborhood was very quiet and we saw deer in the morning along the golf course behind the home.
We drove to Washington DC and spent the night. The drive was less than 2 hours.
I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again when we travel to Virginia.
Well maintained large home, lots of rooms for casual gathering. 3 bedrooms were large and airy, have ceiling fans. Well equipped Kitchen with some spices, sugar, etc. The porch was great, with a view of the golf course behind the home. Convenient to Richmond and surrounding areas.Just FYI Large shower stall in the master bedroom/bath has no grab bars. The soap dish has a handle, but too far away from the door to reach for access/egress; but a very nice shower area overall. The deck next to it was also convenient. We had a very nice stay; would return. Kelly was very responsive to our greeting on arrival and goodbye as we left. Did not need anything in between...
