  • Excellent Place to Stay.

    5/5

Condo was beautiful and clean. All amenities you would need to cook and prep your food. Stairs took a little to get use to, but did not bother us that much. My kids loved the scenery and took advantage of the ski in and ski out.

  • Nice place, just needs a little more

    4/5

Positives: nice location, view, ammenities, etc.We had fun.Negatives: The biggest thing is the dumb waiter needs to work for that building. I talked to 8 families in the same situation where they thought they had a dumb waiter but found it didn't work. It was a big part of everyone's complaint, but seems like a simple fix especially if the whole building pitches in.Also the queen mattress has a large imprint in it. It needs to be replaced. I sleep heavily but had problems sleeping at night due to this.It was a great place but a couple of things just made it feel overlooked. It could be 5 star with some simple changes.

  • Did I rent from VRBO?

    3/5

The stay was fine but i find it ridiculous that i used an app to book a place to stay and the renter refused to speak on the app or use it to give me any information about my stay. Instead they send a bunch of emails from different people just to complicate things. I would never knowing rwnt from them again

    Manager's Response:

Hi Jason, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark. You booked through VRBO and both VRBO and Evolve are available but we feel for questions at the property it's easier for the guest contact to get you taken care of immediately since we are not local. We shared your feedback with the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:

Owner's response: "Jason, we have a direct guest contact who is available for any of your questions or needs. We prefer that you use the boots on the ground in case something goes wrong since they are close by and can take care of any issues that arise.

We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests."

  • NOT HAPPY

    3/5

Not what was expected. They lie about saying the dumbwaiter may or may not be working. We met a really nice owner within the same hall our condo was on and we were told that only owners are allowed to use the dumbwaiter not renters. This was after we first got there and went up the 4 flights of stairs to look for the key that was stated to us would be hanging in the kitchen as of which there was a note left saying "no key, the dumbwaiter is not working" so they lie about it to get people to stay. Our stay was 7 days so we had 3 regular sized bins with food and drinks and supplies for the week aside from our snowboarding gear bags and our bags for our regular clothes/toiletries. It was not fun lugging the 3 heavy bins up all those stairs. Originally I was not worried about the 4 flights considering I can walk stairs but I was not prepared to hall everything up there when I was told there was a dumbwaiter. Also I had to scrub out and wash the freezer and refrigerator. There was dirt all inside the freezer along with a couple long pieces of human hair laying in there. Packed dirt along the side baseboards like they have never pulled the fridge out to clean around it. The mattress in the first bedroom has a huge dent in it where it droops down and you can feel the springs as if the mattress is 20 years old. I chose to sleep on the couch (not pull out sofa part) which wasn't great but better than the mattress. They say may not have cable but what they mean is they don't have cable. We were also told that their wording to the neighbors on that hall is that their only plan when they bought it was to aggressively rent it out which is usually expected considering it is on the mountain although, it shouldn't mean that as the owner you just don't care about keeping it up or cleaned for those renters by getting grime off baseboards, replacing mattresses, cleaning hair out of your fridge and freezer, cobwebs off ceiling etc..when you charge what you charge and make your profit off of the investment in that sum then it shouldn't be a big deal to invest a little back into it and not lie in your advertisement. I'm a pretty laid back person whom hardly ever leaves reviews let alone a negative one and honestly doesn't have an issue cleaning things up a little like I had to do with the fridge/freezer to some extent but hair? Come on, that's disgusting! I hope you change things for the sake of your future renters who are putting that profit in your pockets.

Great place! Everything was as advertised. Skiing was a ton of fun too and we skied both greens and blues. This place is a good value for how nice it is. Just be prepared to climb stairs, which was fine for us. The Black Diamond trails weren’t open yet, leading to the foot of the condo, we were able to walk from the Wildflower lift too. Great place!
