- Remove all perishable items
- Take the trash out to the bins
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Leave all slept in beds unmade, please do not strip linens
- Leave used towels hanging in the bathroom
- Turn off all lights, electronics, and appliances
- Close and lock all windows and doors
- Additional fees will be imposed if the home is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it

1. OCCUPANTS - Tenant is an adult over the age of 25 and agrees that he/she will be an Occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period. Keys will not be issued to anyone under the age of 25. Other occupants will be family members, friends, or other responsible adults, and their children, with number of occupants not to exceed the sleeping capacity of the Property. Use of the property will be denied to persons not falling under these categories. Violation of this rule will result in eviction, complete forfeiture of security deposit and rental fee, and a $50.00 per person, per day fee will be charged for the number of guests over the maximum number.
2. ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE and KEYS - Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the date of arrival. &nbsp;Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. on the date of departure.
3. CLEANING NOTIFICATION &ndash; General clean up is required before check out on the date of departure. This includes:
&bull; Stove &amp; Oven Cleaned.
&bull; Refrigerator and Freezer Completely Cleaned Out.
&bull; Dishes Washed &amp; Put Away.
&bull; Trash in Garbage Can and Rolled to the Curb. Excess Garbage Should be placed in Dumpsters Across from the Valero by the Light.
&bull; Microwave Cleaned Out.
&bull; Beds Sheets and Pillow Cases Washed, Folded and Placed at the End of Correct Sized Bed.
&bull; BBQ Cleaned Out and Ashes Removed.
Please be aware that there may be additional items that are necessary, depending upon the circumstances. If the items above are not completed thoroughly before you checkout on the date of departure, a $25.00 fee for each item not completed will be charged. If furniture has been moved, a $50.00 service fee will be charged. &nbsp;If TV's have been disconnected from the satellite dish or antenna and not reconnected correctly, a $100 service fee will be charged.
4. SEPTIC SYSTEM &ndash; Surfside operates on septic systems. Please do not place anything other than toilet tissue in toilets at any time. Sanitary items of any kind should never be flushed.
5. SMOKING / PETS - All rentals are non-smoking homes. Violation of this policy will result in complete forfeiture of security deposit (and rental fee in the case of eviction). Smoking guests are welcome to smoke on the deck outside of the home. Please ensure all cigar/cigarette butts are properly extinguished and disposed of in fireproof receptacle. Pets of any kind are not allowed.
6. UNPERMITTED USE OF PROPERTY &ndash; Corona Del Mar Properties are not available for rental to individuals or groups celebrating Spring Break, Prom, Large Family Reunions, Beach Party Weekend, Graduation, or for parties of any kind. If it is discovered that a reservation was made using false or misleading information, the reservation will be subject to immediate termination by the Owner with eviction of all occupants and complete forfeiture of rental fee.
7. NUISANCE AND DISTURBANCES &ndash; Tenant and his/her guest occupants will be evicted immediately with complete forfeiture of security deposit for any of the following violations: (a) Use of property for any illegal activity including, but not limited to, the possession, serving, or consumption of alcoholic beverages by or to any person less than 21 years of age; (b) consumption or use of illegal substances; (c) loud music and/or disruptive behavior, (d) causing damage to the property or to any neighboring properties; and/or (e) any other acts which may interfere with neighbors' quiet enjoyment of their property. Surfside has 24-hour resident police patrol. The police have been given full authority to evict anyone in violation of the above regulations, capacity regulations, or for any other violation deemed applicable.
8. FIREWORKS AND CAMPFIRES - Fireworks are strictly prohibited within the Surfside city limits. Small campfires are allowed on the beach.
9. RECREATIONAL VEHICLES - Recreational vehicles (RV's) are not allowed on property. There are RV parks with hookups in Surfside. ATV's are not allowed in the Surfside city limit. Golf carts are allowed and must follow all traffic regulations.
10. FISHING - The cleaning of fish/crabs/oysters, etc. is not allowed on any of the properties. Clean them where you catch them.
11. TELEPHONE - Owner does not provide telephone service in any of its properties.
