Your centrally located retreat is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, a supermarket, liquor store, and a movie theater. A free public bus also stops right outside the front gate, offering easy access to superb attractions on the island, as well as Port Isabel.

    This was my 13th trip to SPI since 2020. I love it there. When booking this trip, I could not tell, from the pictures, if the master had a sliding glass door to the patio. That and a washer dryer are two of the most important things to me when I choose my beachfront condo. To make sure, I called. I was told that all units in Suntide III had sliding doors going out to the patio or balcony, from the living room and the master bedroom.

    The sliding door in the master of condo 102 is rusted shut. The sliding door in the living room was very difficult to unlock and noisy, but it did open. The maintenance man worked on the living room door but just shrugged his shoulders at the bedroom slide. In addition, we had no hot water, very low water pressure. Several appliances were non working or filthy. There is rodent poop in the kitchen drawers. The condo looked good and smelled clean and we were thankful for that.

    Because my traveling partner has mobility issues, we had to stay on the first floor and could not request another condo. The condition of the $2600/wk condo will stay with this frequent SPI visitor. I tried to address my concerns in writing with the General Manager, but received no response. Great property, great beach, poor management.
