Fantastic location! However...
4/5 Our group for context: 6 adults and 5 children aged 7-2 years old.
So the pros:
- SUPER close to Seaworld so if you are a large group going to Seaworld with little kids who may need a break mid day and go back, this place is awesome.
- Beautiful house and property, has a lot of potential.
- Very comfortable king bed I can speak for, I slept very well.
- The owner is respectful and easy to get ahold of.
The Cons:
- The bunk bed room (aka kids room) is downstairs, away from supervision. Big safety concern for us.
- Door code didn't work when we arrived, and this was at 10pm at night with a bunch of tired cranky kids. We got a solution but it was tiresome.
- The kids bedroom was missing several blankets and we had to have the owner come bring by more.
- It may sleep 11 but there are only place settings for 6 or 7 people AND there is just about NO COOKWARE. We had to go get several items so we could cook dinner and lunch.
- The backyard is NOT private. There is a guesthouse in the back and several cars, so who knows if there was someone in the guesthouse.
- We did find dead and alive "palmetto bugs" throughout the house upon arrival scared the kids a bit.
- No cleaning equipment to make sure we could leave it as is. (Mop/Broom, etc)
TLDR: House has A LOT of potential, just needs some adjustments to amenities and accommodations.
