  The manager worker very hard getting the furnace fixed but we did have 2 nights with no heat. Everything was clean and neat and it looked as the pictures showed.

  I traveled to this location with my almost 3yr old and my 1yr old. Our flight arrived late and by the time we got to the house it was around 11:30pm. The house was dark and not even the porch light was left on for us. The door code wasn’t programmed correctly and we couldn’t get into the house. My children were exhausted and my youngest started throwing a tantrum. I called Cynthia, the home owner, and she didn’t answer her phone. I got a message saying the voicemail hadn’t been set up either. I called two more times and no answer. With nowhere to go and me in full panic mode, my husband booked a hotel. We started to drive and got a block away and Cynthia texted me saying she saw a missed call. I texted her back saying the door code doesn’t work. She sent the correct code and we were able to get into the home. I messaged Cynthia back telling her how upsetting it was to be left out in the dark because of her failure and she responded with a generic apology via text. Once inside the house we were met with three dead cockroaches around the kitchen and a live one in the kitchen sink. There was an old food container and broken glass by the bed in the master bedroom. The house was otherwise clean and we assumed the house had recently been sprayed for bugs. We were left with 1/4 roll of paper towels and we had to buy more. We were left with one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and they weren’t even new rolls. We had to buy more toilet paper as well. The grill outside was full of ash and the grilling surface was rusted and not useable. Around 1am on our first night we heard six gunshots about a block away. Then early Tuesday morning around 2:30am on our 4th night we heard gunshots so close and so loud I woke up thinking someone was banging on the front door. I immediately emailed the Evolve team asking to leave the residence because I feared for our safety. I did not get a response. Thursday afternoon around 4pm we were sitting in the back yard and heard multiple gunshots from the abandoned house behind the property. I emailed Evolve again and got a response but they stated they had to contact the Cynthia. Friday night was our last night and we were offered a refund only for that night if we wanted to stay. We opted to stay because it was already 4pm and we had an early flight out. Friday night close to 11pm we heard another round of gunshots close by. There were gunshots 4 out of 7 nights we stayed. This is not a safe location to stay.

  Well located for our needs. Lackland was a good distance.

  San Antonio Riverwalk is a must see and not too far away.

  Responded quickly with any issues. Place was clean. Beds were comfy. Thanks so much.
