2/5 Bad storms came in and we had no electricity for almost 8 hours tried to get hold of anybody for help and didn’t get a response til later on the day Our food went bad bc of no electricity for a long time Paid good money to stay in this place and nobody offered any compensation Been here before bc we had good experience but not the second time

Hi Jessica, we’re sorry to hear that your second stay didn’t go as smoothly as your first. We followed up with the homeowner after receiving your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-The power outage you experienced was due to a severe storm affecting the entire island, including the property and surrounding areas. The homeowner was notified by their cleaning crew early in the morning and responded promptly with an estimated restoration time from the electric company.
-Power was restored within about six hours, and the homeowner communicated the updates to you as soon as they were available.
-While compensation was not offered for this outage, the homeowner regrets the inconvenience it caused and appreciates your understanding given that the power loss was outside of their control.

5/5 Wonderful condo. Great location. Comfortably furnished. Great beds/sheets. Would have liked better/closer beach access, but it worked out better to get a beach permit and drive on the beach to our spot.
