Our family of 8 (5 adults, 2 teens, 1 child) stayed here Memorial Day 2025. Pros: great location on the water, protected from wind and rough waves; dock was fun for fishing and the kids loved the rope swing; parking for boat trailerCons: small bathroom sink plugged and had to unclog other peoples hair and Kleenex out of the sink, both bathrooms had small hairs in the sinks that weren’t cleaned from the people who stayed before us; the listing shows coffee maker and grinder however there is only a Keurig, door loose on hinges in guest bath; doorknob to patio from master bedroom loose; firepit full of someone else’s beer cans; grill and back porch patio dirty and not swept or cleaned; property manager slow to respond and no real time access to someone who could help with property issues. The dishwasher was still running when we arrived so we had to unload someone else’s dishes to start off our vacation. If you’re ok with it not being super fancy and cleanliness was mediocre, the location and home was good. Be prepared to clean if the housecleaners didn’t do a good job before you arrive. Overall, we would stay again just with our expectations set differently. I sent all this feedback to the the rental company via email. Hopefully they make some changes to make the stay better for the next guests. Leanliness should be top priority.

The property was great. Perfect location for a fishing trip. One issue was the grill. It needs to be cleaned up. We couldn’t use it which was disappointing. The bathrooms were not as clean as I would have hoped but overall it was nice.

Easy to find from Google Maps. The roads going in were a little rough but manageable. The house needs a power wash or a good cleaning of the exterior areas. They noted in the welcome book, this is Texas and there are flying bugs, but these were bugs that could have been swept away from the front porch and entry. Inside the house, the stand up tub had an issue as one of the panels were removed and it attached to a little closet in the living room which was also open with a fan blowing in it. We did not attempt to use it. The inside of the house smelled musty but that may have been from the tub issue. Bedrooms were all tidy and nice. Sheets were clean and soft in the master. The whirlpool tub was clean except for a bunch of hair in the drain. The deck was good when sitting in the chairs across the back of the house but under the covered porch was dirty and unkept. The gas grill in the pictures is not functional and the ignitor is sitting on the grates. It was also very dirty. Looked like the previous guests had done a crawfish boil since there were appendages on the deck and tables. A previous guest had also left trash and beer bottles in the fire pit down by the dock so that was unusable as well. The pictures fail to show how close the property is to the highway so if you're looking for a quiet evening on the dock, you might look further down the lake. We had a great time fishing off the dock and just relaxing outside. Local food was mostly fried so grab groceries!

We had a great stay! Really enjoyed sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee and evening drinks. A peaceful and relaxing spot—would definitely come back."
