Family Summer Vacay
4/5 I would definitely read all descriptions closely. This is more a garage apartment, with a great screened in porch and seating area outside around a fire pit. There is no living area inside at all. It was a bit tight for us with six adults and two small kids even though it's supposed to sleep 8. The hosts were on site, very helpful with any questions we had. We stayed four nights and enjoyed our stay, swimming in the pool every day, enjoying nature and floating the Comal and playing in the Guadalupe from Preiss Park.
We ran out of provided amenities within a couple days, but had brought a lot so we were prepared and left for future guests. There were plenty of utensils, plates, cups, pots, pans, towels, and linens! Great pool loungers and pool floats. We weren't able to use the hot tub as it was way too hot at 103°+.

What a gem!
5/5 We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Jack's Cottage! The house layout was just right for a couple and two singles. We were a quick drive to Greune and only about 20 minutes to tubing (we used Lone Star Float House). Plenty of parking, outdoor seating and the screened in porch was great too! Lot of TVs for indoor entertainment and we had deer every morning and evening for outdoor entertainment. Pool was great too, lots of afternoon shade for those not wanting too much sun, just right!
