  This property is not at all what the pictures are. This place is unsafe ! I have told Expedia this does not need to be listed , we saw it and left immediately. Not clean , not safe and not secure from the road or the person living there. EXPEDIA , take this property off!

  You didn't even give our home a chance and left immediately. If you had any issues it would have been nice of you to at least give us a chance to rectify them.
  
  You complained immediately and we offered to refund your money even though you brought an undisclosed dog and had not paid the pet fee. You were unfair in your review and it should not have been posted because you didn't stay.
  
  We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

  Please don’t base your stay on others opinions.

  This place is for those that love the country and want an upgrade to camping.

  What people are calling the attic. Is a loft. Our children LOVED it!! Flashlights and ghost stories are the best! Put away the technology here and enjoy the scenery.

  The master bedroom is so nice with the desk to put on your makeup.

  This town has trains, that’s to be expected.

  The back porch is so nice in the morning and at night with the lights on the patio. The outside bathroom is perfect to wash off after a long day at the river. Loved the convenience of the bbq pit.

  The host was so nice and accommodating to a request. Conveniently located to where we needed to go. I would definitely come back.

  I have 4 stars as it took a good while to cool the house down, but we are battling the hottest part of the summer.

  The house was very dirty- there were dead bugs upstairs on the beds such as spiders, flies and other bugs. The main floor bedroom bed was also full of dirt on the mattress cover after taking off the sheets. It looks as though it’s never been washed. The floors were dirty and the bathroom was disgusting, not even a plastic insert shower curtain. I didn’t realize there wasn’t a living room to sit and relax, only the kitchen. The kitchen also looked as it hadn’t been cleaned and things were falling apart such as drawers without handles and cabinet doors that won’t shut. The train noise is horrible 4-5 trains with whistles blowing through out the night let alone during the day. The only good thing I can say was the air conditioning and fans were perfect!

  -The sheets and bedding are freshly laundered before each guest's arrival. We apologize if the cleanliness did not meet your expectations and will address this with our cleaning team.
  -The choice of not using a plastic shower curtain is intentional to reduce moisture buildup; cotton curtains are provided instead.
  -The floors were swept and mopped before your arrival. We’ll recheck our cleaning procedures to ensure they meet our high standards.
  -The kitchen cabinet doors are designed to be handle-free as a personal preference of the homeowner, but we understand this may not suit everyone.
  -The property's proximity to the train tracks is mentioned in our listing to inform guests about potential noise.

  We had high hopes for this house, but we were disappointed the minute we saw it. This “house” is connected to a chiropractic clinic. We thought we might be at the wrong location but no, we parked in the chiropractic parking and brought our back into the “house”. There were so many doors that could be opened from the chiropractors office or from the exterior of the house but couldn’t be open from the inside of the house where we were staying. It was not clean, toilets looked nasty and floors were dusty and sticky. They only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper for a group of 8 for 3 days. It was located right off of a highway, next to a railroad where a train traveled at night and it was SO loud, and there was an unfinished construction site behind the property that looked scary. Overall this was just not at all what we were expecting and we felt scared to stay at this property because of the location and the lack of heavy duty locks on the doors.

  - Our listing and pre-stay information clearly state that a chiropractic office is on-site, with a completely separate and private entrance. Due to the office being connected to the home, there are doors that guests can't access.
  - We prioritize cleanliness and sanitization, ensuring the property is thoroughly cleaned for all guest arrivals, including freshly mopped floors and clean bathrooms.
  - As is standard for vacation rentals, the homeowner provides a starter supply of paper essentials for guests’ convenience. Guests may have to purchase additional supplies, especially for longer stays or larger groups.
  - The listing and pre-stay information explicitly note that this property is located near train tracks, and guests may experience noise throughout their stay. We encourage travelers to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
  - There is construction occurring behind the home that does not extend into the property.
