• It was great; however...

  The previous reviews mention the cleanliness so I won't get into it too much, but there were a lot of spider webs in and outside the house that could've been cleaned up. The towels were stained and probably needed to be replaced or a different color may have been better. Not a lot of kitchenware to use but we made it work. It's a lake property. I didn't expect it to be perfect. I was happy I was able to bring my dogs and my kids had a blast playing pool all weekend. I was a little disappointed when I realized this house was the only one without a dock or true, easy lake access. The pictures posted made me think there was a dock and maybe that's my fault for assuming. But to get to the lake, we had to climb up and down a pretty tall concrete area. Because of this, my father-in-law and my mother couldn't' join us at the lake itself. The post includes kayaks but we couldn't actually enjoy them because even though there were 3 kayaks, there was only 1 paddle and my kids had never been on a kayak before so I didn't want to send them out without me. The internet never worked so we had no TV, which ended up being fine. Again, it was a lake weekend. TV/Internet weren't necessary but it would've been nice to watch a movie as a family at the end of the day. I will probably look for a different property next time, but we had a good time, regardless.

• The pictures are a lie

  The entire exterior of the house is covered in spider webs and wasp nests. We had to walk through so many just to get in the house. The pictures of the back yard must be very old because that yard doesnt exist anymore. If you are looking for a spot to fish this isnt it. The deck is old and unsteady. We ended up spending all of our time inside because outside was terrible.

• Don’t stay

  The home was not as it was advertised, outside was dirty and covered in spider webs the decks were in terrible shape and about to fall down, yard was grown up with no access to the lake, the inside was not that clean and the internet did not work as well as the tv, we texted, called and emailed the host with no response. We left a day early because we were not enjoying our stay. We should get some kind or reimbursement for what we paid to stay there.

  -The home undergoes thorough cleaning after each guest and our lawn maintenance crew ensures the yard is attended to weekly.
  -We have three fully functional decks. The decks are safe and stable.
  -Being a lake house, some presence of spiders is expected, but our cleaning team strives to minimize this as much as possible.
  -We have verified that both the internet and TV are working correctly, and our current guests have not reported any issues.
  -The homeowner did not receive any communication from you during your stay. They are committed to responding promptly to any concerns when contacted.

  The check in was inaccurate. The directions tell you a key pad is on the shed outside, its not. There is a padlock. The water was off, we had to wait for someone to come, which was a few hours. The coffee pot had old coffee that was molded, spider webs throughout the inside and outside. Lady bugs in all of the rooms, dirty coffee cups inside the dishwasher. To add insult to injury the host would not answer my calls, she wsnted to text only. Even after I texted we were cold because the thermostat did not work. Im so upset because my mom passed and this was supposed to be relaxing and it wasn't. Very very very very hurt and disappointed
