5/5 Great home to stay . I think mattress on king and queen need replacing.. bit too soft! Other than that all is good. Great quiet neighborhood

4/5 We had a great time. The location, proximity to the beach, and number of bathrooms were the best part of our stay. A family of 5 plus a Grandma, the space was great! The view was out of this world! The pictures online do not do it justice. When you fall asleep listening to the waves and wake up to the most picturesque view. It was wonderful. The pictures online were a little deceiving because the furniture is no longer bright and new looking. It's dingy and stained, but it's a rental beach house so I wasn't upset about this. That's pretty much par for the course. Even though therewas a wash house on deck the sand is everywhere and impossible to get off. The musky/mildew smell was overwhelming at first, we grew use to it. The last place we stayed at in Destin was the same, so I'm assuming that's typical now for beach properties. Too much moisture in the air. Only other thing I would have appreciated was more dish towels and dish soap and trash bags. Giving us 1 trash bag for an entire week with 6 people was not great. Having to come on vacation and buying a week's worth of groceries for six people was enough money spent but add in basic necessities like paper towels, soap, dish detergent, and trash bags was disappointing. This was the first vrbo i stayed in that didn't have sufficient supply available for guests. I get the laundry soap, it's our choice, but dishes and trash, it's a full kitchen so you should assuming guest will be eating in it and using dishes.

Weekend getaway
5/5 Quite private home in a gated community. 15 minute drive to the island. The salt water swimming pool is awesome and the hot tub. The scenery at the pool made it so relaxing. The home has everything you need. Just bring your food to cook and grill, along with your pool toys. My teen son and nephew's had a awesome time in the pool, took a inflatable volleyball set up, and a pool basketball hoop, and they played for hours. Our whole we were there we were outside in the pool. Would diffinately rent again.
