  For the most part was positive but there were cons too. Pros-kitchen with supplies, spacious house, has a washer & dryer,Cons-door code and check in was confusing, could not adjust thermostat, dated furniture and finishings, beds were not comfortable, bidets are not for public spaces, hand written signs with too many rules.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  - We set up the door code with the last 4 digits of your phone number and it's fairly easy to use. We're sorry you had difficulties, we wish you had reached out with any questions.
  - We do ask that if you need the thermostat adjusted you call us. We are only a couple of blocks away and will take the time to get this done for you. We do this because we have had guests who have had problems and broken it and we don't want that to happen.
  - The photos are accurate and show the furniture that is in the property, we feel it is still in very good shape.
  - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. This is the first time anyone has complained.
  - Bidets are getting very popular and are no longer for the elite. We have seen many places that have them available and if you don't want to use them you can do things the old way.
  - We have one note about the thermostat and one on how to use the bidet. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  
  We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

  The stay was pleasant. Somewhat outdated. Compliments smaller individuals. Living room furniture was too soft and low. Hot water was scalding

• Great response and assistance

  Owner was extremely helpful before we came and during stay. Prompt attention to internet being out (provider problem), temp adjustment and guidance of additional items in rental for holiday food preparation. Quite area and nice that we had use of parking in garage.

• Comfortable, Convenient, and Clean

  This place is nice with a spacious layout. The kitchen is well stocked with seasonings, coffee, cups, etc. The place is clean and the beds are very comfortable and of good quality. Everyone said they had a good rest. The decor is reasonably classy minus the picture in the last bedroom on the right. The floor is of good quality wood. We appreciated that the floor was wood rather than having rugs as it made the place more sanitary. The sunroom is also a lovely feature of the house. Having live plants in the house made the place feel welcoming.

  The house is about five minutes away from the main strip where there are multiple shops and supermarkets. Also is 30 minutes away from the museums and downtown Houston. Overall, quite convenient and a comfortable place.
