  Family lodging on Lake Granbury for a wedding in Dublin over the weekend.

  Well stocked kitchen, kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles all available and enjoyed.

  Our host responded promptly to my inquiries and our stay was memorable.

• One major and several other problems with house- read on and please fix.

  1. House description on VRBO advised of the community water system. It failed to state that water pressure is so low after flushing toilet that the shower was impossible dribble until waiting several minutes. Using multiple spigots same time in this house resulted in unacceptable low water pressure at other spigot.

  Would not have rented if original VRBO description was truthful!

  2. Ice cubes in ice bin frozen into a clump so would not come out when lever was pushed. Had to chop them free to get it to work.

  3. Ice cube upper and lower bins cracked and kept leaking water onto kitchen floor. Had to keep cleaning up water puddles.

  4. No coat hangers in some closets.

  5. Deck boards loose and very old and need replacement.

  6. Light out over center island.

  7. Inside floor mat in front of lake deck and in bedroom curled at edges needs replacing because we kept tripping over curled edges. We moved them away.

  8. Pantry cabinet lower hinge real loose needs tightening or replacement.

  9. Bedroom opposite bunk bed room had front of bed supported by 10 wood blocks. Bed wobbles badly.

  10. We paid more than $1000/day for this rental and it was not worth it because of 1-9 which we hope you correct and don’t ignore. We understand this review may never see the light of day but You can do better!

  - We wish we had heard from you while you were at the property and not after in your review. We are here to take care of any issues we can because we want you to have a good experience.
  - Regarding the water pressure, this is a subjective assessment. We spend time at this house with multiple families and people and have not been able to replicate the condition you mentioned above and think that this must have been an isolated incident due to the demand from the eclipse.
  - Like any home, some items are subject to overuse and abuse. We thank you for bringing these items to our attention. We have replaced the shelves in the freezer.
  - The burned-out lightbulb over the island has been replaced.
  - We have tightened the hinge on the cabinet door.
  - We've added coat hangers to all the closets sometimes they get moved around. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
  - We have inspected the deck and the loose boards were found and have been secured. We do perform periodic inspections and this was scheduled to be inspected in 2 weeks after your stay.
  - The rug has been secured with velcro steps to prevent the corners from lifting, it's safe and secure now.
  - The mentioning of the “wooden blocks” with the bed, are the 10 wooden slats that came with the bed and provide the structural support for the mattress and boxspring. We found no issue regarding wobbling and were unable to recreate any movement with the bed. Again, the wooden slats are the structural components that came with the bed. No repairs were found warranted for this item.
  - The nightly rate is set by Evolve which uses an algorithm based on the size of the home and the area it's located in. We're sorry that you felt it was not worth it, but had you let us know you had problems we could have changed your mind.

• Great stay for our girls weekend!

  Loved the house! Very roomy and great place for a fun weekend with friends. Open communication at all times with host who was very helpful with any questions we had. We can’t wait to go back.
