  This was the perfect property for us to stay at for the Southwestern Graduation weekend. It is close to campus so we did not have to worry about parking.

  Our home in Georgetown is not set up for a comfortable stay for guests due to the size. I booked this as a place to spend the nights for my friend and I after touring around central Texas during the day. It looked cozy but had a sketchy home/yard on each side. The beds seemed old and were not that comfortable. The window in the smaller bedroom had black mold on the casement around the window. I didn’t notice until the last day. Surfaces were clean and the kitchen had up to date appliances but no amenities like coffee, tea bags, or more than one teeny bar of soap in the bathroom. The internet advertised was non existent. The back yard was overgrown. On checking out my friend noticed we were supposed to strip the linens off the bed. Neither of us has been asked to do this at any stay before. Would not recommend.

  Hi Cheryl, we shared your review with the homeowner, who provided the following response:
  -The neighbors on both sides are kind and welcoming. While the home isn't in a country club setting, it's located in a vibrant downtown area that is safe and inviting.
  -We understand that mattress comfort is subjective and can vary based on personal preference. We personally inspected the windows in the small bedroom and did not find any signs of moisture or concerns.
  -For health and safety reasons, especially following COVID-19, we no longer provide shared consumables such as coffee or tea. As noted in the listing, we provide a starter set of toiletries for guest use.
  -Regarding the internet, guests were provided with login instructions and were advised to reset the router. After the reset, we received no further reports, indicating the issue was resolved.
  -The backyard is landscaped with stone and crushed granite, as shown in the listing photos.
  -Stripping linens and placing them in the laundry area is a common practice in vacation rentals, and we include this as part of our standard check-out procedure to assist our cleaning team.

  We had such a good time. The house was very nice and it was close to our children and grandchildren and walkable to downtown Georgetown. I would definitely stay here again!
