  Paying for a rental of this quality was disappointing. Our stay was frustrating from the start. The keys barely worked because the locks and doorknobs were rusted, and we couldn’t lock the upstairs door when leaving due to the damage.

  The downstairs never cooled despite running both window A/C units and all four fans, forcing our entire group to sleep upstairs. One A/C unit didn’t blow cold air and was extremely dirty. We contacted the host, who sent a handyman that evening. He confirmed the unit was broken and said he would return the next morning to replace it, but never did.

  Although Wi-Fi was advertised, we had to contact the host for the login information. The home sleeps 11, yet only four towels and washcloths were available, and no shampoo was provided as listed. The remaining towels were sitting in a broken washer full of water.

  The kitchen cabinet was falling off its hinges, the sink leaked underneath, and sewage was seeping from beneath the house. The coffee maker contained used grounds, the microwave was dirty, and the upstairs refrigerator never became cold enough for our food. The kitchen vents were moldy, the living room had peeling walls from mildew, the ceiling fan was covered in dust, and the floor had a large soft spot that felt unsafe to walk on.

  The neighbors were kind, but one mentioned we were the third group to rent that week and that the previous guests had broken into her home. Overall, I would not recommend this property. It is in significant disrepair and needs substantial repairs before being rented again. Photos can be provided.
