• Clean and well-equipped

  This condo is good for a family of 3 or 4 with young children. Similar to other resort-style condos in Galveston that are “on the beach,” you’re getting a smaller condo than some people may be used to. I think the pictures and description very accurately describe the condo.

  The shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in the shower was a nice touch and was fully-stocked. There was really nothing we lacked for in the kitchen, though admittedly, we didn’t cook very much. They had a wine corkscrew, colander, and even a ninja blender. Note that it does have a drip coffee maker and not a Keurig style machine. But coffee grounds were also supplied, which was nice. Another nice touch was the sand play toys for the kids. I liked that I didn’t have to bring and pack some from home for beach use!

  This might seem trivia, but there were plenty of hooks to hang things like towels and clothes; there was even one outside which was great for drying off towels and swim suits.

  There was only one small issue that didn’t affect us, but the kitchen garbage disposal would not turn on. I messaged the owner, and I assume it will get taken care of. (I only noticed it on the last day of our 3-night stay).

• Don’t stay if your not ready to sweat.

  The air conditioner wasn’t working properly. Called the owner she came by and said that’s “as good as it gets”. When we got there the air was set on 75. We turned it down to 70. That was as low as you could turn it because it was locked. It got up to 78 degrees with the air running the whole time. At night it finally got to 74. But went right back up the next day. The air ran the whole time and never cooled off. Early the morning of check out she remotely turned the air off. I would not recommend staying here in the summer.

In response, the homeowner would like to share some additional information with you: "When you contacted us about the air conditioning not cooling properly, we immediately reached out to the local AC company for assistance. Unfortunately, they were all tied up with appointments, but we managed to secure the fastest technician available. Upon his inspection, he suggested that the temperature needed some time to adjust to the unit, preventing it from going completely out. While we understand that 74 degrees might not be as cool as some prefer, especially during the summer, it does offer a level of comfort, particularly in the heat of the day. After assessing the situation and identifying the damage, the technician informed us that a new unit was required. This process took about 24 hours, during which time we worked diligently to get the new unit installed. We understand that this might have caused inconvenience, and for that, we truly apologize. We do want to stress that we are simply conveying the AC company's assessment during that time. We were doing everything in our power to make it right, but sometimes, these things take a bit of time. We're thrilled to inform you that the issue has now been completely resolved, and we have a brand-new unit in place. Once again, we deeply apologize for any disruption this may have caused to your stay. Your comfort is of utmost importance to us, and we're grateful for your understanding."

• Amazing experience

  Surprised my husband with a bday trip here & it was amazing! The condo is all set up & had extra things to use! We definitely will be coming back within the next couple months!

• Great location, nice view of the water

  My boyfriend and I enjoyed our 7 night stay at this condo. It was well stocked for cooking and it was nice they provided a few basics for the bathroom (q-tips, cotton swabs, a razor, ect). The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had a great location, close enough to walk to lots of restaurants and a short Uber ride to Pleasure Pier and downtown Galveston. Biggest downside was actually getting into the condo upon arrival, we were notified of what the code would be, but it unfortunately did not work. However, we were able to get a hold of the property manager and got a key to get it within a few minutes. Overall I would recommend this condo to others and would stay again.
