  Before I begin, spare me your generic reply on how you're sorry & owners take this seriously & will address everything. I had concerns based on the reviews about booking this home & I exchanged emails with Evolve & was assured they hold the properties to high standards & everything had been taken care of, the only thing fixed was the AC. Evolve's website states "Our homes will be everything we promise online and if not, we make it right ."� They also state in COVID 19 and cleanliness: "Evolve takes safety of partners,owners and guests very seriously and we are continuing to take direction from CDC, WHO and local govt agencies. It's always important to ensure the property is clean and guest ready."� Check in was 4 pm, we arrived around 4:15 & the first thing we see is trash all over the yard. We walk in take off our shoes to check out the home floors felt dirty, & after only walking the first level, the bottom of our feet were already black. There was a blue chair by the table that had dirt & dried food smeared all over it. The coffee table and 2 blue chairs were broken, all toilets in the house were dirty except one. There was hair on shower walls & the jetted tub in master had stains, dirt & hard soap scum. We proceeded to open up the curtains in the master suite for the view you see in the photos on the listing, instead we got metal storm shutters that did not function, so no view and no access to the patio. That being one of the main reasons we chose to pay the hefty price for this home, we call the house contact given to us, & we were told they were sending a guy to fix it. Next day around 10:30am we heard nothing so we called back, got voicemail so we emailed Evolve & let them know about everything we found wrong with the house so far. They never responded directly to us but the contact lady called back & said she was still working on getting the shutters fixed & asked if we wanted her to send a cleaning crew at that point we had already cleaned ourselves, something that should have been done prior to our arrival! So basically until our check out 5 days later, nothing got fixed, no return emails from Evolve either. Here is what we got for 5 days & 4 nights; no view, dirty house, fridge barely cooled, dirty appliances, pullouts with pee stains and bug pieces, no privacy in two of the rooms, fence to backyard didn't shut, rusted metal fence pieces dogs could step on or swallow and much more. Owners/management should be ashamed.

• Worst experience I’ve ever had

  Will never use Vrbo again. House was double booked. Neither the property management team or Vrbo tried to help us out, just told us we’d be refunded in 2-4 weeks. Had driven 8 hrs to be there and had to sleep in car. As a veteran, it was a great way to spend Memorial Day. Ceiling had collapsed. True nightmare. Both the property management company and Vrbo should be ashamed.

  Entrance door would not close so repairman had to come and secure the entrance. Faucets were loose and bathroom with no hot waterHad to be fixedDoors to the deck overlooking the beach we’re not working and had to lift and edge the doors to shut. Deck chairs were all rustedKitchen cabinet drawers and doors were in need of adjustment to open or closeBeautiful description of an outdoor fountain that was full of green slime and apparently had not worked for quite some time Outdoor lights were either rusted and did not work or bulbs were burned out
