  The location is right on the beach. Great beach walking. The views of the gulf are amazing. Watched the moon rise from the deck one evening. The kitchen has everything needed to cook any meal. We enjoyed our stay and will return again. Fantastic house.

  Over the years, we alway have an annual trip to the beach and have stayed in many homes and areas in Galveston and I have to say this one is on the top of my list! I loved the home itself, everything was perfect and so well stocked! The location was great…almost felt like we had a private beach! Highly recommend this home to anyone looking!!

• Perfect For Family

  This home features so many wonderful things and they were all appreciated.

  I would like to begin by saying this home was fully stocked with towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, hand soap, & has mounted shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the the showers. This is not typical, so we brought all of our own stuff and didn’t need it! Very thoughtful touch.

  The downstairs queen bedroom had a box fan, which was perfect to drown out noise from the rest of the house for the napping baby.

  The house doesn’t come with beach toys, but the owner, Walter, was in communication with me through text the whole time. He said we were welcome to anything that is in storage since things like that are left behind. Couple of shovels and buckets did the trick!

  Most of the artwork all over the house are originals by Amanda, Walter’s wife! The Golf trophy’s and achievements upstairs in the pool room were won by Walter! Very neat to have all of that around. Made it feel like they are family.

  The beach view and access were PHENOMENAL.

  Truly, our family found our forever vacation home. We will be back.

• Awe Inspiring and Unforgettable

  Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about booking this place. It seemed a little dated (and by extension, dusty), but the location right on the beach clinched it for us. Boy, was I wrong to be nervous! The pictures don't do it justice. There's something interesting to look at everywhere your eyes fall. The art is trippy and delightful. There is whimsy everywhere. You just can't be depressed here. I literally forgot all my problems. And it was so clean. And the location was just perfect. The chairs on the deck are a beautiful spot to sit with a drink. The pool table was a bonus. Manager was super easy to reach and very helpful.My husband who doesn't care about these things, made me promise to keep booking this place over and over again as long as we keep going to the beach every year, and everyone agreed. Thank you for sharing An Artist's View with us, we absolutely loved it!

• Excellent House For Family Vacation

  The house sits right on the sand and the privacy of the beach is one in a million. The owner is friendly and always accessible. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and fully equipped with everything you would need. I highly recommend it.
