  Unfortunately upon first initial booking, we were charged a $200 cleaning fee. After booking, we discovered that we were still required to clean up everything and take out the trash, wash dishes and basically leave the place spotless. I have no problem cleaning up after myself but to basically charge me to clean up after myself is a downright scam of a business model. One or the other. If you're charging me a cleaning fee, I shouldn't have to be meticulous about cleaning up. I understand the outliers where some people may absolutely trash the place but they should be charged on a case by case basis.

  As for the place itself, we walked in, and walked right back out. Found bugs on the wall in the bedroom, the couch did not have any support whatsoever and you basically sank through the cushion directly into the frame. It definitely couldn't be slept on. And upon entering, you're greeted with the lovely smell of mold and humidity.

  No overhead lights in the living room or bedrooms. Everything was individual lamps, except for the kitchen and bathroom.

  The tub faucet was leaking at an alarming rate even being fully closed. I checked it twice and couldn't get it to stop leaking.

  It seems like the house was flooded out at one point and they tried really hard to get it back to a livable space. Even the floor is warped at every joint.

  I read that I was unable to get a refund during booking and boy was that a regret. We called around, multiple hotels just to find a room for the night and stay elsewhere. I took the loss on this one. The furnishings looked great in the photos and seemed like a cozy little place but man was I catfished. We ended up staying in hotels for the weekend and left the place vacant. Until things get addressed, avoid this place.

  - The cleaning fee is a standard charge used to ensure the home is professionally cleaned after each stay, and guests are not expected to leave the property spotless—just in reasonable condition.
  - We were not made aware of any issues regarding insects, mold, or furniture comfort during your stay. If we had been contacted, we would have been happy to address them promptly.
  - There was also no communication received regarding a leaking tub faucet, which we would have gladly sent maintenance to inspect had we known.
  - We’re a bit confused by the mention of cleaning the unit thoroughly if you chose not to stay, but we respect your decision and are sorry to hear that the home did not meet your expectations.

  It was the perfect location for our weekend trip to Dallas. There was a local restaurant/bar next door and a Starbucks within walking distance (about 10 min away). The apartment itself is overseen by a property management company. Make sure to read their email before arriving as you have to request the keypad code to enter the apartment. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this until an hour before we arrived, and I had to follow up a couple different ways before someone replied with the information. The amenities are rather basic and it was a little annoying that there wasn’t an iron/board or hair dryer as listed. Also, there wasn’t dish soap. I know that isn’t standard to a rental but it is nice to have. Overall, this apartment was convenient for a quick weekend trip and we were happy with our stay.

  I was convalescing & my wife found convenient for restaurants & CVS etc. Roku is not my favorite form of entertainment & found accessing current TV frustrating.
