• Beautiful Views

  The views are beautiful and wildlife are grazing on property. The house was not clean. Dead bugs and cob webs everywhere! The listing advertised corn hole and ping pong etc. There was no corn hole game and the ping pong paddles are not playable. The main issue is the water pressure. Absolutely no hot water in bathrooms. The water trickled out in the kitchen sink luke warm. The house could be a great stay but the property needs some upkeep.

• Needs attention

  Easy process, good description of house. However, not clean, terrible(really terrible) shower pressure. When showering there was zero power, actually it just drip water in all 4 showers. Terrible experience.

  2nd floor a/c never cooled off. I know it’s bad when we see a small, cheap, plug in fan out running as well.

  -Regarding the shower pressure, the area is currently experiencing a prolonged drought, which has led to occasional water supply interruptions from the local water company. Thankfully, the pressure returned the next day, but we understand how inconvenient this was during your stay.
  -The A/C systems are regularly serviced to ensure they perform well. We're sorry to hear the second-floor A/C didn’t cool off as expected. We encourage guests to reach out to their guest contact while they are in residence with any issues so that they can address any concerns quickly for a most comfortable stay.

• Disappointed

  We booked a stay way in advance from Wednesday to Sunday for our family. Positive items: beautiful view from the balcony, large home to accommodate our large group, good amount of household and kitchen items to use, very quiet, lots of beautiful trees and the host was very responsive.

  The negatives: way too many stairs, it was brutal! The neighborhood/area is not well kept, there was an abandoned home next door. The walk to the lake is 15 minutes but you're walking between high grass and the lake was dirty with beer bottles, misc trash items. We had hot water for a day and a half...even after the plumber "fixed" the issue. We received a credit of $70 for the inconvenience after paying $2k for this rental. Roaches were in the beds, the living room couches and showers- no one came to lay down the roach bait as mentioned. The home was dirty but could be that it had not been used in a while since it had a for sale sign in the front.

  I really expected a higher quality of a home for the advance notice of booking as well as the price paid. Although we had to make the most of it, I would not book her again.

• An incredible relaxing stay

  We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and so much space for us all to enjoy. The view is beautiful. It was too muddy so not so pleasant walk to beach but it's the rains fault. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.
