Had a good stay except the fence on the sides of the house are not a privacy fence, so the neighbors dogs barked at us a lot and I had to walk my big dogs. It’s a little smaller than I thought it was but we made it work. The host (Darla) was wonderful responded quickly every time I messaged her.

Hi Goldie, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The neighbor does have rescue dogs and there may be some barking from time to time, and we're sorry if this had a negative impact on your stay.
- In the warmer months, there are some bushes that provide more privacy, however, after hearing your feedback, we have decided to install a privacy screen near the porch and along the 20-foot section that currently lacks privacy fencing.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
We loved staying here. Very dog friendly and really close to town as well as the lake!

First and foremost Darla, the owner, responded quickly to a question or two I had. AWESOME!!
The studio’s yard is fenced in and my dog enjoyed her space. I loved the easy access to neighboring towns, hikes, and entertainment!

Perfect little spot to stay right between Austin and San Antonio! Convenient to a couple stores and quiet. Looked exactly as it did in the photos! The property manager was easy to get in touch with and really nice. I enjoyed my stay. If you have small children with you or have them plan to visit it has a great little yard and swing but beware the nextdoor neighbors dogs, they DO NOT like kids and the fence is not very high.
