  Beautiful, spacious, and secluded. Those were the 3 things I was looking for when planning our family of six vacay. This cabin checked all the boxes. It had all the amenities and furnishings we needed and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I loved that the owner and the housekeeper reached out to me personally via text.

  Our families had the greatest time spending our Christmas holiday in the cabin. Everything was so clean & cozy, the location was a reasonable distance from main cities, and the view was beautiful. The cabin has everything you need for a quick getaway. We will definitely be recommending it to our friends! :)

  This place is a hidden gem. All the privacy you would want to watch the sun come up behind the lush trees and mountains wrapped up cozy in your pjs with a hot cup of Joe and minutes away from everything the Smokies has to offer. 15 min away from Cade’s Cove and the entry into Smokey Mountains National Park. 45 min from Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. None of the traffic and crowds as in Gaitlinburg. Townsend, TN is a lovely secret. We will come to this captivating cabin again & again to recharge & lose ourselves in everything this area has to offer.

  I have been priviledged in my lifetime to visit the Rocky Mountains and the Ozark Mountains. I slept in a tent in the Rocky Mountains in the summer and I stayed at a hotel in the Ozark Mountains. I found the stay at Peaceful Side Cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains to be the most unique and memorable experience to date. The cabin provides privacy and serenity from the front porch to the back screened in deck. You can relax and soak up the sounds of nature. The amenities in the cabin show careful concern for the guests comfort. The town of Townsend is 10 minutes away giving the guests 5 star restaurants or franchise restaurants such as Pizza Hut or Subway. The national park is minutes away from Townsend. The larger cities Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are just a short drive away. Check out the wonderful "guest guide" binder for loads of information on activities available in Townsend and other cities close by. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did on Labor Day weekend!
