  Several things broke. We rented for the bed space and the pull out couch was broken & host never responded back regarding this issue. They could have at least offered to get an air mattress since we ended up being a bed short. Made sleeping arrangements difficult and uncomfortable. The spoke detector alarm going off fixed it ourselves. The couch upstairs was broke in reclining. The area and space was great if broken things fixed I would rent again clean & easy access

  We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the area, the space, and found the home clean with easy access. We’re sorry to hear that you experienced a few issues during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We regret the inconvenience caused by the downstairs pull-out couch and the impact this had on your sleeping arrangements. The owner did not receive the message regarding the couch until after your stay, but did respond once it was received.
  - While the couch does pull out, it was later discovered that the mattress support was missing. This issue has been identified, and the bed will be replaced to prevent future concerns.
  - Regarding the smoke alarms, the owner did respond during your stay and offered to address the issue, though a response was not received at that time. When the home was checked after checkout, the alarms were no longer chirping.

  This is our 4th year to stay at your cabin over Christmas holidays and we look forward to our stay. We did not stay at this property in 2024 and were pleased with the improvements that were made since 2023. Thank you so much for a property that allows us to have plenty of room and bring our fur babies along. See you in 2026!

  Most everything was really nice. Just a few things to note: Lake was gone, washer and dryer didn't work, pots and pans in very bad condition & need replaced, there were no trash bags, and the Roku/tvs were not easy to use. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

  From the owner: “We’re glad you enjoyed your stay. The lake is seasonal, and the listing photos actually show the home in winter, when the lake is drained and only the creek runs behind it. The washer is working, though I’m aware the dryer is not and will be replacing it shortly. I’ll also pass your comments along to the cleaner regarding the trash bags and other concerns so they can be addressed. Thank you for your feedback.”
