My husband and I had an amazing time here. It was so peaceful and tranquil and we had a family of visitors while we were there. I give this place 10 stars and I would definitely recommend.
Cabin was very clean and satisfactory. Parking was an issue.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very clean. The only thing I didn’t like was the mattress and pillows. The mattress was very hard and the pillows were flat.
The sign says Bear Ridge but the website calls it Bear Ridge two.
First, DO NOT PUT THE ADDRESS IN GPS! My suggestion is to drive into the town of Pigeon Forge and then place the address in GPS. This will save so much time and not take you miles out of the way.
I wish it was a little more clear on how steep the roads were. There is no guardrails and much of the road is one lane. Very sharp curves and steep drop offs. We would have still picked this cabin but would have really appreciated the heads up.
The exterior is very overgrown and there was poison oak at the front door and in the overgrown garden when you open your car doors. It would have been nice to have had the exterior match the pictures.
Parking- yikes! Also would have been nice to know how intimidating and scary the parking situation is. We live in the mountains and were still very intimidated of the parking. I would suggest to get rid of the landscaping that’s overgrown in the front and maybe making that all parking. That would give enough room for turning around.
Access was super easy!
Cleanliness of the cabin- wow! I give props a million times over! The little details from the way the towels were folded to the perfectly way the toilet paper was folded made it feel luxurious! It smelt so good and the wood really sparkled! You could tell it was cleaned with pride and excitement for the next families use.
The porch swing was a dream! It rained the last day of our stay. It was such a pleasure to sit on the swing and read as the rain poured down.
Door dash does deliver to the cabin which we took advantage of! There is a large selection for late night delivery.
Overall, the cabin is beautiful. It is very private and quiet. I would say it’s more fitting for adults and teens. It’s not a cabin I would choose for kids with a lot of energy. We were very pleased with our stay!
We loved our stay at this cabin. The pictures are exactly what you'll find in person, perfect for a family of 4. The location of this cabin is great to go to either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. BUT heed warning to the crazy "switch back" roads to get there! I recommend not arriving your first time after dark if this type of terrain isn't your norm. Set your GPS before you start the incline or your phone will go into SOS mode (seriously). The roads are very narrow and the street signs are not clear. I'm pretty sure we didn't take the same route in the dark!
