  The outside of the cabin was grown up and and the road was washed out trying to get to it. The back porch was not screened in and the water in the sink and shower smelled so much like sulfur and rotten eggs we could barely shower in it. The cabin was clean though and they did provide Wi-Fi.

  - The overgrowth around the cabin and the condition of the road were due to an unusually rainy season and the first growth of the year. The property has since been fully trimmed and mowed, and we’re coordinating repairs for the rut in the community road.
  - The back porch was recently renovated and is now enclosed rather than screened. The raccoons kept tearing through the screens.
  - We had just serviced the well and upgraded the water purification system before your stay, and we weren't aware that the sulfur smell persisted. We wish we had been contacted during your visit so we could’ve addressed it immediately. The well has since been treated, and the issue has been fully fixed.

  4 stars, cabin was wonderful, location was alright. 4wd or awd recommended for sure! Some things are different than pictured but not by much. Should be updated though. Overall good place. Would stay again

  The property owners did not respond to me at all I tried to contact them before and after we got there the water was nasty i let it run for a while then it started to smell at first I thought maybe there was air in it until it started to smell the bathtub was nasty the jets was so dirty they should have whom ever cleaning it to clean better or get someone else to clean it any they are remodeling no big deal but they could let you know that as well

  - We didn’t receive any messages from you before or during your stay—if we had, we would’ve jumped on the opportunity to help.
  - We hate that the water system wasn’t working as it should have during your stay. If we’d known at the time, we would’ve contacted the purification company right away. They’ve since come out, cleaned the well, and confirmed the system is working properly. The water was safe during your visit and is safe now, with no smell.
  - We’re sorry the jetted tub wasn’t up to standard. We would’ve gladly sent someone to take care of it if we’d known there was an issue.
  - We are in the middle of some remodeling, and agree a heads-up would’ve been helpful—we’ll make sure future guests are better informed.

  A weekend getaway for our anniversary. Short trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was a nice, secluded place to stay.

• Peaceful Getaway

  We live in the mountains of Virginia so the location worked perfectly for us. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple's getaway. The hot tub is a nice bonus. My husband loved waking up to turkeys gobbling from the next ridge. It's off The beaten track so be prepared to take lots of turns to get there. The road was a little washed out after winter so make sure your car doesn't ride too low. thebeaten track so be prepato g too low.
