  Best feature was the views. Harder to get to than expected, and parking was not as adequate as it says in the description. Loved the king bed and bath on each level, but cabin is older and is very noisy when walking around. There is not ample seating except for 3-4 in the living room. Did get to see bears walking around the property which was very cool!!

  We really enjoyed the house, especially the porches and the view. It is very quiet and remote. We had a big storm the first night and there was some water dripping into the bathrooms on the upper and main floors. Other than that, the stay was very comfortable. The house is well stocked with supplies and very close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We were able to get to several hiking spots in minutes and had a really nice hike at Laurel Falls before the crowds arrived. Also, the drive to Pigeon Forge was reasonable (20 min). I will say that the roads up to the house are very steep and narrow. I thought it was well worth the trip because the view was amazing, but I was very glad to get there in the daylight so we could navigate easier. I’d suggest making sure you get there during daylight hours on the first day. It was tricky to find, even with very detailed directions from the host. The host did a good job communicating with us, and we had no big issues. I would definitely stay again. Great location and gorgeous view.

  The cabin has pretty views, but our stay there was not so great. We had a mouse that was in the cabin, there was rat poop all in the drawers that was not cleaned out, there were several roaches that were killed during our stay along with spiders and others bugs in the house. We called the guest contact once in the morning and left a message and then later on that afternoon and left another message finally got a call back at like 6:30 that late afternoon and all we were told was that they would have the pest people come out the next day, which we were leaving then. For as much money as we paid to stay, it was not worth it. The cabin needs to be updated and also the grass is extremely high and hasn’t been mowed.

  - We have a standing monthly appointment with pest control and the exterminator came the day before you arrived. They also came back and serviced again while you were in the home. This issue has been taken care of.
  - We have had a lot of rain in the area and servicing the lawn is done when we can get someone out, we apologize for the inconvenience.
