  I’ve put off reviewing this property because I needed to let myself cool down before writing it. We are a big family of travelers. We have stayed in some questionable places with down right disgusting homes. This property falls somewhere in between ‘ok’ and ‘are you serious?!’ I’ve comprised a list of things upon our arrival. The description of the property states there is room for 3 vehicles in the drive way. This is true if you drive compact cars. We had 2 full size trucks and a trailer and we were packed across the sidewalk and could not pull all the way into the drive without hitting the house. While we were trying to park and unload our party of 8, the neighbors came over to welcome us by screaming “you can’t park there” and “you’re blocking our drive way!” We in fact stayed parked where we were and not blocking any drives.

  The keyless entry was a nice feature. As soon as we walked into the home, an overpowering smell of flower plug ins and marijuana smoke filled the air. As we moved into the kitchen, the sink was full of gross, greasy, CHUNKY, dirty water. Along with NO hand towels, Dish rags, baking sheet, or Tupperware storage. The listing states it sleeps 9. There was only enough silverware for 4 people. As I mentioned above, there were 8 of us. The ice maker and water on the fridge did not work and there was no ice cube tray provided to make our own ice. The washing machine had 2 wet rugs in it. I threw those in the dryer and started it. Our feet stuck to the floors all through the house. Up the stairway the walls were filthy. The king bedroom upstairs had trash on the floor, under the bed, and condoms throughout the room. We found where the marijuana smell was coming from. The small closet in the bunk room. Had a broom and trash everywhere inside of it and someone had used it as their personal smoke room. We searched high and low for bedding for the futon, but there was none. No extra bedding for anything. The light switch at the top of the stairs didn’t work properly. Probably need to call an electrician. There is a cigarette burn in the upstairs shower wall. There were no hand towels or hair dryer provided. Even a motel 8 has that. Finally, the downstairs tv didn’t work. The remote wasn’t paired correctly and we could never figure it out.

  The photos of this rental look good, but beware. I would never rent this property again.

  Beautiful home with lots of charm, character and space. We had a great attentive host that welcomed us and checked in. I would definitely use this property and host again.

  It a good quiet place to relax and enjoy peace and its really pretty and the host are wonderful people everything was great
