  Great place to stay cheaper than a hotel, clean and easy check in , the owner checked in with me the night I arrived , the neighborhood is in a transition phase , and felt safe. Good quantity of baking supplies to make a cake or peanut butter cookies

• No heat, non responsive host

  When we arrived there was left over food in every cabinet, in the fridge, and in the freezer. No heat in the house at all and the temp dropped below 55 degrees inside at night. Called and texted the contact number but got no response. Ended up buying a space heater in order to make it through the night.

  -When the home was prepared for your arrival, all utilities were functioning, and no issues were reported during your stay. Evolve, our property management company, was not contacted, and the heater concern was only brought to our attention a week after check-out.
  -We apologize for any inconvenience. While the kitchen does not contain leftover food items, a selection of seasonings is thoughtfully provided for guest use. These are neatly stored in designated cabinets to maintain a clean and welcoming space.

  The property was close to campus and our activities. This was a great feature. The beds were comfortable, but I was glad we brought our own blankets. That being said there were many vacated and boarded up homes close to the property. The homes on both sides were very questionable. There was what appeared to be an abandoned van sitting almost in front of the property during our entire stay.

  The bedding and linens need updated. Worn sheets with a patch on one sheet in the master. The towels were very thin and many had bleach spots and stains.

  The dishwasher was full upon arrival and there was only a

  consumer carry out bag with dried up soap available. We did not use any dishes or the dishwasher.

  There was no toaster available. I guess some people would have liked the rice cooker. We would have preferred a toaster and a Kurig.

  The lockbox was located over an outdoor light and was difficult to use.

  I feel the cleaning fee was excessive when we had to strip beds and pile up towels and take out the trash. I put the trash can to the curb one day because I noticed the other

  neighbors had theirs out. Luckily, it was emptied.

  -Extra blankets and towels were available and stored in the cabinet or dresser drawers for your convenience. We regret if their location was unclear during your stay and will ensure future guests are better informed.
  
  -Regarding the neighboring homes, they are privately owned and beyond our control, so any renovations or changes to those properties are not something we can influence.
  
  -Regarding the vehicle that was parked, it was located on the street, which is not part of the property itself. As the owners, we cannot assume that a car parked on the street is abandoned, as public street parking is beyond our jurisdiction and used by various individuals.
  
  -Moreover, the lockbox is placed in a secure location to ensure it remains discreet and protected from public view. This is done with the utmost consideration for the safety and security of both our guests and the property. By keeping the lockbox out of sight, we help safeguard access and maintain a secure environment for everyone.

• Short distance from campus

  House is very clean and recently remodeled. Not sure it was complete. House and location suited our needs very well. The distance from campus was great. Neighborhood wasn’t what we expected. Communication with host was awful.
