Jake was a very accommodating host who helped make our stay in Knoxville enjoyable. Simple but comfortable cottage that has lots of East Tennessee memorabilia, excellent internet, TV and just a quick drive to UT and downtown.

So very glad you enjoyed our historic "C" House. Imagine living there full time with 2 children! Most of the original flat-top houses were moved to a lake as a fishing cottage. This one was supposed to be a workshop.
Almost every owner installed a peaked roof, over the orginal rubber roof. They were built without plumbing and electricity. which were retrofitted. All came with 1940's style furniture already inside because the doors are so small. Not much would have met Knox County building codes. Ithey were named a, b, & C flattop were the most built. If interested, Google Oak Ridge alphabet houses. Come back anytime!!
Fall and Spring in east Tennessee are beautiful times.
This is a tiny property, but it was spotlessly clean, and was comfortable for our week long stay. Bonus points for proximity and ease of getting to downtown Knoxville and Market Square. It isn’t luxury, but for our purpose it was great. Jake is extremely nice and very responsive. The pictures don’t show it, but there are two reclining loveseats in the LR, so at the end of the day you can put your feet up. I work when I travel and wifi was great, no hitches. Overall, if you want something clean and comfortable, this will work. If you like to cook, there is no dishwasher and limited pots and pans so may not be ideal. I would definitely stay here again.

Our 2nd time here and will be back again. Very near stores but very quiet and secluded feeling. Nice yard front and back and front patio

We had a delightful stay. At first arrival, it had nice yard (to walk our small dogs), a front patio to relax and have a nice drink. Although the house was small, it was super clean and had all of the amenities we needed for our visit to Knoxville. The area appeared to be in a safe area and convenient to our needs.
Just a wonderful place, very quiet, very accommodating with a wonderful host, and very convenient to all things UT. It is as perfect for the three of us, and will stay again next time to Knoxville. Highly recommend this fantastic quaint place.
