Christmas getaway
4/5 We had a magical 4-night stay at Gatlinburg Chateau. The location is absolutely perfect—just off the strip, providing a peaceful retreat away from the noise of cars and crowds. It’s only a short walk to many attractions, which saves a lot on parking fees in town. The free parking on the premises is also a huge convenience.
However, the unit itself feels very dated. While it was clean, the furnishings and decor could use some refreshing. In today’s world, with affordable options readily available, it’s disappointing that the owner hasn’t invested in making the space more cozy and inviting.
The king-size bed was appreciated, but the mattress was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and the sheets and blanket felt cheap. The sticking-out bed frame is also a safety hazard in such a small space.
Shana was wonderful—responsive and helpful in answering our questions. Unfortunately, the cleaning crew missed the mark. They left dishwasher cubes, but there’s no dishwasher, and no dishwashing liquid was provided. Also, only one roll of toilet paper was provided, so plan to bring extra.
Overall, the location and convenience make this place worthy of 5 stars, but it has the vibe of a cheap hotel room rather than a cozy, welcoming Airbnb. A little attention to detail could make this place truly exceptional.

5/5 We enjoyed our visit. It was a short walk to everything in downtown Gatlinburg. The pool was heated and made it nice for a night swim. No check in needed. Owner gave us the key pass. Nice stay.

Perfect Location and Very Comfortable
5/5 This was a beautiful condo and very central to the Gatlinburg Strip. Jaime is absolutely wonderful and made the stay very enjoyable by making sure everything was perfect. We will definitely return!
