  The cabin had everything my family needed during our stay. Plenty of room us. The theater room was great for watching the game. The location was perfect, not too close and not too far away from the hustle of Gatlinburg

  Bedroom upstairs next to game room had wasps, we killed at least 5, living room furniture was worn out, everything is for little people, our family is over 6 feet. Furniture needs upgraded. Toilets are so small. The sunlight coming in living room was blinding, curtains are needed. The parking was awful, so slanted it was hard to get out of vehicles. You better be small and young to rent this cabin. We did see bears though.

  Hi Roger, we appreciate you sharing your detailed feedback, and after sending it to the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
  - Wasps can occasionally make their way indoors as they’re drawn to warmer spaces, especially in cooler weather. This is often from open doors.  Even though we have not heard this before from other guests we take our pest control very seriously and are taking precautions.
  - The cabin’s furniture is standard size, selected to complement the cozy cabin vibe. We understand it may feel compact for taller guests and apologize if it didn't perfectly suit your family’s preferences.
  - The high windows in the living room are designed to showcase the natural beauty of the surroundings and let in ample light. Due to their height, it’s challenging to add curtains, but they’re a feature we think helps bring the outdoors in.
  
  We’re glad you enjoyed spotting some local wildlife during your stay, and we’ll continue working on ways to enhance the guest experience. Thanks again for your feedback!

• Gatlinburg stay

  Loved the property, location was key, this log cabin is less than 5 minutes to the parkway, grocery store, restaurants and gas stations, and barely 10 minutes to Gatlinburg downtown. This log cabin was perfectly sized for the 4 families that visited Gatlinburg. Plenty of parking space for 4 full sized SUVs and Mini vans. Each of the 4 bedrooms had an attached full bath. Loved the great room and it's multiple large windows, kitchen and 8-10 person seating capacity dining table. We enjoyed several evenings watching movies in the theater room. Kids had a blast with sleep overs in the theater room. Views of the mountain peaks from log cabin were nice. AC worked great, house was clean and all bathrooms were fully functional with hot/cold water. Hot tub was nice!

  Matt, the home owner was very responsive, and helped with any questions or extra towels and toiletries that we asked for.

  We had a good stay at this home. We chose the home because it had 3 bedrooms with king-size beds, which met our family’s needs. The dining area was good for all of us and the game room was a fun area for the adults and children as well. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was the kitchen. The two large fry pans need to be replaced. They are Teflon and all scratched which is unsafe and unhealthy. So, there was only one 10” pan that was useable. Also, there were 8 of us and only 6 spoons and those were large. Our 3 and 5 year olds managed, but it wasn’t easy. We had to ask for a coffee pot, but the management delivered one the next day, so that was good. One other safety hazard is the outlet on the wall by the table. There is a prong that is sticking out of the plug on the right-hand side. We didn’t touch it, but it could be a problem. The location was excellent for us and we had a great vacation!
