  Refrigerator and freezer did not work. We were told to buy ice ice. We had a bag in the refrigerator and freezer which were both set at the coldest temperatures. Ultimately we kept all food in freezer with the bag of ice. Nothing froze! The frustrating part is that other folks noted the same problem starting in June, 2 months before we stayed there. The house definayely has upkeep issues. Windows don't seal; there are gaps. Bathroom vent is rusting and looks like it will fall out of the ceiling and condensation drips constantly. The metal staircase is jimmy rigged with a board and duct tape on the bottom 2 steps. The photos on the website are AI inhanced. They do not represent reality.

• Cabin was in bad need of a deep cleaning

  The cabin had an unpleasant odor that hit you as soon as you walked in the door. There was a good amount of deep cleaning that could’ve been done to help make it a very nice cabin. The layout of the cabin was very neat, but definitely needed a good cleaning!

  Our family had a great time during our stay here. The location to gatlinburg and pigeon forge was good. We got to enjoy nature and see some bears ! Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and going to the pool. We would love to stay again when we come back

  Overall, the stay was fun. It was a unique cabin in the woods and we saw bears every day. The hot tub was a plus for the kids. However, the driveway is steep and not easy to access. My husband would have to stand in the street to let me know if cars were coming. There is an overgrown tree that needs cleaned up as it is over the only part of the driveway you can get out of. You will high center if you use the center of the driveway. Also, refrigerator does not work great. Freezer did not freeze anything. No ice and our food thawed. Sent email to contact and never heard back. It is a very damp cabin. Towels do not dry. Also, shampoo, conditioner, body and hand wash provided but no dish soap. And, never found the clubhouse in the pictures. The pictures do need updated.

  - We discovered a dead tree on the property and are in the process of contracting its removal to help with driveway access.
  
  - Lawn maintenance had not been handled as expected by our cleaning team, but we have now hired someone to maintain it bi-weekly, with the first service already completed.
  
  - The home is pest-free, and our monthly pest control service also completed additional maintenance during their most recent visit.
  
  - During our recent stay at the cabin, we found it to be in good repair and very clean, though we made a few small updates to keep it looking great, including new pillow covers and extra security bars for sliding doors.
  
  We’re committed to keeping this home well-maintained and ensuring guests have a positive experience.

  The reviews about the driveway are not to be dismissed. The driveway is steep. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes. Make sure you bring your own dish soap, that was not provided. The hot tub was fantastic.
