This trip was extremely disappointing. The original cabin that we stayed in had very sketchy to Little if any Wi-Fi service. We have a daughter in Myrtle Beach that might need to contact us, and I did not want to be without service. They offered to move us to an alternate cabin right on the hill, which was great. However, two windows would not lock, my husband had to wedge one with the broom handle to get it secure and another window had the glass pain broken. We ended up, leaving, however, was unable to secure a hotel because of the Jeep invasion, and every place was booked, so we returned to the original cabin as you see picture. Both cabins were absolutely filthy. The second one was definitely worse. The furniture was so dirty. I felt dirty sitting in it. Bugs everywhere, which could be expected from where the cabin is located but cobwebs strung from ceiling fixtures to the bed. The outside area showed chairs in a fire pit that we were unable to use because the weeds and grass are overgrown and most places and the chairs were filthy with dirt and bird debris. I would have needed to scrub them with a brush and a hose, which I should not have to do on vacation. You expect a few little things because of the location of the cabin, but this was more than that. The groundskeeper supposedly did an inspection prior to us arriving, not sure why they did not see these things. I worked with evolvewho refunded me 27 for our inconvenience. What a joke!!! the pictures lie about these c

There was no A/C when I pulled up and water had weird smell out of every faucet in the unit..drove 6 hrs and was not able to stay due to multiple issues. There were also a few ants crawling on pillowcases.

The property was as pictured, however, it was in need of TLC and it did not look like it had been maintained regularly. There were dead flies in the windowsills and dead mosquitoes under the pillows on the bed. The property should have been cleaned prior to our arrival, and clearly was not. It may have been cleaned since it was last used, however, it still needed attention. Some lightbulbs were out, and it appeared to be tired and old. Sadly, as cute as this was, I would not book this property again. It just looks old and tired.

  • Relaxing and enjoyable

    4/5

We loved the look and feel of the cabin. It was very well laid out and had a very clean and spacious feel to it even though it was small. It also had most items that we forgot like coffee filters. The only draw back for us was that the bed was super hard compared to what we are used to. The driveway was a little confusing but we figured it out and definitely recommend an all wheel drive vehicle. The view out the sitting room and bedroom window was breathtaking. We recommend this place if you are looking for a location to get away from the hustle bustle of the tourist areas, however, it was not too far from any of those for those wanting to take a day trip to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.
