Peaceful cottage
5/5 I'm thankful we were able to find this place for our group of 8. It fit our needs perfectly as we had 4 adults and 4 teens. The teens slept in the loft and adults in the bedrooms. Having a washer and dryer was helpful and the kitchen was stocked with most items needed for cooking. There are 2 lake entrys less than 10 minutes feom the house. The neighborhood was quite and the neighbors friendly. I would stay here again, if we come back to the area.

Has the potential to be a cozy little place near the lake but needs some love
3/5 Pros:
- very clean when we arrived
- Nice porch area. It was lovely to sip coffee and watch the deer
- Close to the lake
- Kids loved the loft area
- Multiple TVs
- Fire pit with wood available
Cons:
- air went out and it was a muggy 82 degrees
- Microwave randomly turns on by itself. Then when you want to use it, doesn’t work
- The refrigerator leaks
- Dryer takes 3 cycles to dry
- No outdoor trash receptacles so you either have to keep all trash bags in the house or set them out and allow the raccoons to shred them.
- Called the first day about the refrigerator. They said they were aware. Later made multiples calls to host about the AC and other issues with no response

-The thermostat was set incorrectly. We promptly responded and assisted with adjustments.
-The microwave is new but we have looked into the reported issue.
-We have begun working with a new cleaning company to ensure that future guests do not share your experience.
- We were not made aware of the issues regarding the refrigerator. We have since looked into the issue however, we encourage guests to reach out with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to make things right.
The homeowner would also like to note that they're looking into all of your concerns and plan to make the appropriate changes where necessary. Thanks for your valuable feedback!
