  The actual apartment itself is nice. Not sure if the owner wasn’t there the first 2 nights but it was quiet. The last night and morning sounded like someone running, jumping and stomping from 9pm or so until midnight if not later. At 7am the last morning it started again and did not stop when we left at 10am checkout. There’s no thermostat to turn on AC and the fans barely kept it cool enough. Had to be careful with spiders. Cameras pointed into patio area no privacy.

  -As the owner, I apologize for my unavailability as I was attending to a family member in need. Regarding the noise, I sincerely apologize. I had to accommodate another family member with four children and one adult upstairs, and they were adjusting to a different time zone after arriving from another country.
  -I manage the A/C via my phone and encourage guests to contact me via text for any temperature adjustments, whether to increase or decrease the temperature. Unfortunately, the guest did not reach out to inform me of any needed adjustments.
  -The cameras are positioned outside, facing outward, and are activated at night for the security and safety of both myself and our guests. They are in place to ensure the protection of everyone staying at the property.
  -Regarding the spiders, I conduct pest control twice a year. While high summer temperatures can drive insects indoors, we have not had any reports of spiders.
  We strive to ensure that every guest enjoys the best possible stay, and we eagerly anticipate hosting many more satisfied guests at this property, as evidenced by our other reviews.

• Great location in Rapid City

  The property was clean and felt very safe and comfortable there. The location was perfect for our day trips. Saw Devil’s Tower, went caving, trips to Mt Rushmore (daytime and evening), Custer State Park, Badlands and good eats in Rapid City. Highly recommend Black Hills Bagels!

  Finding the house was a little tricky because the street house numbering was not sequential.

  The only con was not having a working freezer to freeze our ice packs. The small apartment fridge worked fine, just no freezer.

• Good stay, but there could be improvements.

  Two complaints. We were at the mercy of the main floor thermostat. Night temps were too warm. TV options were awful, especially on the weekend. All TV options were "free" Visio "channels". No Local networks for news or weather. Not one national football game available. VISIO free channels are not real channels.

  Please consider adding a real stove and a real refrigerator. We struggled with cooking (abandoned) and food cooling options forced us to buy ice and coolers. Apparently you planned on everyone drinking wine and heating Hotpockets.

  The home was wonderful. Very clean, large and a great view. It was centrally located and made visiting so easy.
