House has a lot of potential however I don't believe it is ready to be rented as there is a lot of unfinished work that could be potential safety hazards. The pull out bed was broken, unfinished drywall in upstairs closet that led straight into the attic and down stairs bedroom har a patch of open drywall cpvered by a pieceofplastic that fell off occasionally . Work was being done on the patch of grass my grandkids were going to play ball on. The kitchen was fully stocked which was nice and convenient. It was a fairly decent place to cook and sleep.

    Manager's Response:

From the owner: “There were some springs that fell off on the pull-out bed that we replaced. The plastic is a necessary access panel for plumbing, but it should not be coming down, so we will take additional steps to secure it. We apologize for the work being completed, but there was a broken water pipe that had to be repaired immediately, and the workers had not replanted the grass yet. It has since been replaced.”

The house has great potential. However it does not appear to be ready to rent as there are several unfinished projects and safety concerns, especially if you are bringing kids with you.

The house was well stocked with what you might need, including ziploc bags, silverware, dishes and pots and pans. There were towels however they appear to be hand me down towels as some of them had stains on them. The sheets were clean however not the most comfortable to sleep on. The outside trash can was already full upon arrival.

The upstairs childrens bedroom had a whole wall panel in the closet open that led straight into the attic this was a serious safety concern and the kids were afraid to sleep there. The trundle bed did not have sheets or bedding. Smoke alarms were not installed but just sitting on the dressers. There was a broken picture frame in the upstairs childrens room. The linen closet had linens just piled on the floor. The master bedroom had dirty baseboards and dust behind the nightstands. The pull out bed was broken and unable to be slept on (the contact person did bring an air mattress to addfress this)

The side grass area where my grandkids wanted to play ball was in the process of being torn up and the 2nd day we were there workers were digging up even more of the space and left exposed wires and an unsafe work space that we had to walk through to get to our car. The contact person called me while we were out and asked when we would be back so the workers can access the house. When the workers did access the house they tracked mud through the whole house and when pointed out he smiled and said sorry about that and left.

Upon checking out I text the contact person so inform of all concerns and I was not given any response.

I do believe this house has grear potential however the safety concerns and having work being done during out visit took away from out vacation time of being able to relax. The location is good.
