It was amazing except it was hard to park the boat. The water is really shallow there.

From the Owner: "Hi Denis, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay! Duke Energy regulates the water levels on Lake Keowee because they own the nuclear power plant as well as several hydroelectric power plants on the lake. They will pump water up to Lake Jocassee and run it through their plants (back into Lake Keowee) to produce electricity when needed. The result is on occasion the water levels are less than optimal. This is why we dredged the cove, so that there is adequate water around the dock at all times (before we dredged, the water would dry up around the dock!). Unfortunately we never know when the water level will go up or down, but at least now we know boats can always get in and out."
The home is beautiful. My only complaint is there was a lot of spider webs and spiders on the walk down to the lake. Overall the stray was very pleasant.

From the owner:"Thank you for your feedback. We try our best to keep the property clean and inviting for guests. Unfortunately our lakefront location is also inviting to some unwanted
guests like spiders! We will continue to do our best to maintain the outdoor space as well as the indoor space."
From the Owner: "Thanks for your 5-star review!"
What a great retreat on the lake for families and friends. Close to Clemson and downtown Seneca. Kayak, hot tub, or simply relax on the couch in the family room. Good for all ages and pup friendly too.
