  Condo “cons”

  Bathroom fan in Master doesn’t work

  Water shut off for 4 hours in the middle of the day (we were given a couple day notice)

  No shower curtains (only liners)

  No beach towels provided

  Had to replace 4 burned out light bulbs upon arrival

  Noisy construction ongoing

  Blinds in both bedrooms were broken. Privacy concern with front bedroom

  Large balcony

  Tastefully decorated

  Great water pressure in shower

  Comfortable beds

  Great location for stores and restaurants

  Hi Steve, thanks for letting us know about your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following:
  -Regarding the issues raised, this is the first time we've been made aware of them. It appears the guest did not reach out to our Guest Contact during their stay.
  -Regrettably, we were unaware of the bathroom fan not working in the Master, as this issue had not been reported previously.
  -The water shut-off for maintenance occurs approximately once a month at the Brigade, without prior announcement. We usually receive notice via email the day before.
  -Regarding the absence of shower curtains, we'd like to clarify that we do provide shower curtains, not just liners.
  -Beach towels are not provided, as indicated in the listing and confirmed by previous guests.
  -The Guest Contact would have promptly replaced any burned-out lightbulbs if notified during the stay. Lightbulbs are kept in the unit for this purpose.
  -The listing notifies guests of ongoing construction before booking and reconfirms via email after booking.
  -We were surprised to hear about issues with the blinds, as they were all replaced in October 2023.
  -We deeply regret any negative experience and emphasize our commitment to ensuring guests have a great stay. We express a sincere wish to have been notified of these issues during the stay, as we would have gladly taken steps to address them promptly.
  Our commitment to providing an exceptional stay remains steadfast, and we eagerly anticipate hosting many more satisfied guests.

• Great cousin getaway

  First of all, my cousin (Boston) and I (Atlanta) stressed over picking the right place for 3 days, probably 1,000 text messages back & forth. Neither of us are great at making a decision should it be the wrong one lol. We walked in and immediately relaxed. The condo was a great place. It was in North Myrtle Beach so it's quieter, less traffic, less noise, beautiful views, plenty of room, right on the water with a great breeze even in August, beach chairs & umbrella. We didn't see any beach towels, but I had brought some.

  We only had 1 "issue" really, it seems the guest shower has an issue with the plumbing. We came back from dinner and the whole place smelled of sewer lines. We opened the windows & cleared it out, then it was fine. Same thing the next morning. We only stayed the weekend and let the host know, so I'm sure it is an easily fixed issue. But it was only a very minor issue.

  We very much enjoyed our stay. One of the lifeguards recommended Villa Romana Italian Restaurant to us and I would definitely include that in my stay again.

  We have already started planning our next visit to bring down my aunt as well. She would love it. We highly recommend this condo and we wish we could have stayed longer!!

• Quiet, beautiful view

  We loved the quiet location between the busy part of myrtle beach and North Myrtle. LOTS of space. Shower water pressure was amazing.

  We could not walk around barefoot though because the floors were pretty dirty. Our feet were dirty just walking through one time. My baby is crawling and his pants and socks were BLACK in a very short time. The balcony was not clean at all. But the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean.
