Top-Floor Condo w/ Ocean Views in Hilton Head!

  We love the Beach & Tennis Resort! The condo has a great view of the ocean and good location from the elevator. We really appreciated the beach chairs and cart for use. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the fridge was frosty cold.

• Worst Experience Ever in a vacation rental

  My family has been coming to Hilton Head Beach and Tennis for 14 years and have always had wonderful experiences with the condo's we rent. This year was the only exception. Upon arrival we found the unit very dirty. I had to put all dishes in the dishwasher to be cleaned because the silverware, glasses and dishes all had food on them. There was food all over the dining table and placemats and dust everywhere. It looked like a soda had been spilled in the fridge and allowed to dry. This When my children tried to turn on the TV we found out it was broken. We contacted the agent managing the property and was told that they would have to purchase and install a new one. It took 48 hours to get a new TV and many text exchanges trying to gain status. The property manager did offer to send in a new cleaning crew but I had already done the cleaning so it wasn't necessary. The only compensation that was offered for us to not have a working TV for 2 full days was to drop off board games which we declined. It didn't help that this was during hurricane Debby and we were confined to the unit. Thank goodness we had our phones to stay on top of the weather alerts. There is an electrical problem with the bathroom so when the lights are on in the condo and the bathroom fan is running, the breaker trips. There are also burned out light bulbs throughout the condo. We strongly would urge against renting this condo. HH Beach and Tennis has many other wonderful units to choose from. We asked for monetary compensation for our problems are were told that we need to take this up with the property management company that the owners couldn't help. This unit is very tired and worn and needs a different cleaning crew. People go on vacation to relax. Not, to have to spend 2 days texting back and forth with a property manager just trying to get a TV. And, having to clean a unit that is filthy.

  We have stayed at the HH Beach and Tennis Resort many times and this unit is very nice. It is just as pictured. The location was good with easy beach and pool access. We would stay here again.

  We had a great stay during our long weekend vacation! Condo was great, loved the easy access to the beach and pool. Would definitely stay again!
